Privacy Policy

Overview

This website combines static informational pages with an optional account area for protected downloads. We do not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not embed third-party widgets that set cookies. The only cookie we set is a strictly necessary session cookie for users who register and log in (see "Cookies" below). The only other way to reach us through this site is via the email address and the external appointment booking link shown on the Contact page - using either of these transmits your message directly to us or to our appointment booking provider, outside of this website.

What data we process

The static informational pages (start page, contact, imprint, this policy) do not collect, store or process any personal data on our own servers, and have no analytics. If you register for an account, we process the data described in "Account data" below. If you email us or use the appointment booking link, the data you provide there is processed by us, respectively by our booking provider, for the sole purpose of responding to you or scheduling the appointment.

Account data

If you register for the protected download area, we store your name, email address and a securely hashed version of your password - we never store the password itself. This data is used solely to operate your account and grant access to protected downloads (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR - performance of the service you requested). You can request deletion of your account at any time by contacting info@streamwyse.de.

Recipients of your data

When you register or get in touch with us, we add your contact details (name, email address, and, where applicable, company and job title) to our customer relationship management system (CRM) to track your inquiry and stay in contact with you. The CRM is technically operated by opXon GmbH, an independent partner company of StreamWyse. Processing is carried out solely on our instructions under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR; opXon GmbH has no independent access to your data and may not use it for its own purposes. The legal basis for this processing itself is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in maintaining a structured customer relationship).

Cookies

Once you log in, we set one strictly necessary session cookie to keep you authenticated while you browse the site. This cookie does not require consent under applicable law, is deleted when you log out or your session expires, and is never used for tracking or advertising. We currently do not set any optional cookies (e.g. analytics); if that changes, the cookie banner shown on this site will let you accept or reject them.

Download logging

When you download a protected document, we log which file was downloaded, by which account, and the IP address used, for security purposes such as detecting misuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR - legitimate interest). This log is not used for marketing.

Hosting

The static informational pages are hosted as plain files. The account area (registration, login, protected downloads) is served by a separate server-side application with its own database, used solely to operate that feature.

Your rights

You have the right to request information about, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you (e.g. account data or email correspondence), and to object to its processing, under Art. 15-21 GDPR. Contact us at info@streamwyse.de.
